This is an upscaled version of my smaller female figurines, inspired by the unique and simple form of Neolithic figurines found in Eastern Europe. Made from white stoneware, this figure was made using a cylinder of clay which I manipulated into this female form. Shown here, the back and front, which has been burnished and then incised. The stand is a found object which has been up-cycled to form part of the sculpture. Height 37cm
